Promotional Skills for Authors (Tutored retreat)

In the modern world of publishing, responsibility for marketing a book falls largely on the shoulders of the author but it can be a daunting task for those who are new to book promotion. This tutored retreat will introduce authors to some ideas on how to market their book and the best way to maximise their efforts. From working with bloggers to writing to a PR brief, the weekend will give you confidence to go and out and push your book like a pro.

Led by tutors, Emma-Claire Wilson and Julie Morris, the weekend will be a mix of group tutorials and exercises in the morning, with afternoons free to write, relax or socialise as wished.
