Reading Retreat

An opportunity for any book lover to escape from the real world in every sense and lose yourself in books for the weekend. Books surround you in every nook and cranny of the the house, ideal reading spots are scattered around the house and gardens and no one will demand you get your nose out of your book to do some mundane chores or deal with any tedious problems. With meals provided for you, you can even bring your book to the dinner table if you like and no one will bat an eyelid. Read into the wee, small hours - no need to hide under the bed covers with a torch here!

As well as uninterrupted reading time, there will be ample opportunity to talk books and reading with the other guests, because every bookworm knows the next best thing to reading a book you love is sharing it with other bookworms. With this in mind, your host, Julie, can also suggest a curated reading list ahead of your visit, based on your current headspace and your personal reading preferences, or you can choose from the suggested reading list for the weekend, or just freestyle amongst the hundreds of books around you. There will also be a chance for a 1-2-1 with your host, an award-winning blogger, where you can discuss the books chosen for you, what other titles you might enjoy and how your reading habits going forward can be adjusted to bring you the most joy and contentment.

The perfect escape for anyone who just wants to be left alone to read for a little while.
